Screaming Power releases 3 new features for Scream Utility before its 3.0 Release

Screaming Power is pleased to announce the final major release of its Scream Utility 2.0 mobile customer engagement application. This release adds 3 new major tools that include: (1) an integrated first-level support feature where the Utility and ratepayer will now engage in support activity right in the app; (2) a new GHG toolset that educates its customer on GHGs and allows the Utility itself to continue to build GHG analysis unique to the user’s energy usage; and (3) a new tool to educate the residential user on pricing options for electricity. Along with the 3 features comes multiple minor enhancements that push customer engagement to the next level. This version has already been released to its Scream Utility customers and available on iOS and Android through participating Utilities.
This enhanced solution now provides one simple-to-use menu allowing customers access to the utility’s important information, such as enhanced outage information. This release is preparing the solution for its next major 3.0 release due Q1 2022. With this new version, the user can become more engaged and educated. Once the ratepayer registers, their billing and metering information is immediately provided, and all information is automatically updated as new information becomes available. Existing features like notifications of new bills, one-click delivery of PDF bills and the ability to export electricity and water data via email, allows the customer instant access to their current and historical information. The solution is available to all Utilities today and automatically adapts to the users’ utility account: residential, commercial, institutional and/or industrial.
This energy Utility digital solution is constantly evolving. Our next 3.0 version will add an integrated web-based toolset that will provide extensive Ontario-specific Green Button functionality for the Utilities, users and third parties. Energy Utilities continually look for ways to help customers reduce their costs and greenhouse gases, while at the same time offering better customer engagement for all stakeholders. We continue to leverage smarter technologies, to evolve our Utility customers business in digitization.
